Onderzoeksinteresse
Ik studeerde Vergelijkende Cultuurwetenschappen en behaalde een doctoraat in de Pedagogische Wetenschappen met het proefschrift "The rhetorical and narrative turn. Explorations in education". Momenteel ben ik als Doctor-Assistent verbonden aan de Vakgroep Onderwijskunde van de Universiteit Gent. Mijn onderzoeksinteresses zijn: nieuwe retoriek, cultural studies en interpretatieve onderzoeksmethoden. Ik ben tevens lid van Constant, een vereniging voor Kunst & Media.
Ik verbleef als ‘visiting scholar’ aan het Department of Education van de University of Bath (Januari, 2009), aan het Centre for Culture, Identity and Education van de University of British Columbia (November-December, 2010) en aan de School of Education/ Laboratory for Educational Theory van de University of Stirling (Januari -Februari, 2012). Voor internationale VLIR-UOS projecten rond capacity building geef ik workshops rond Interpretatieve Onderzoeksmethoden in Mozambique en Zuid Afrika.
